An eTwinning conference in Poznań

Hello Friends!
We would like to boast about our award in an “eTwinning contest in a school library”. We won a second award for a project “Japan”. There was no first place, so we were the best. Unfortunately, there were some deficiencies in a project which did not allow us to get a first prize. Never mind, we enjoyed it very much.
We picked up our award in Poznań, on an eTwinning conference. We spent great time in a beautiful hotel and we also visited the city.

Greetings from Poland! :-)

Cosplay in Zawiercie

On 8 May I, Ola and Ms. Kate prepared something special. It was so called cosplay - we were disguised as anime and manga characters. It took a lot of time to characterize us, but it was worth. You can see the results of our work on the photos.

And now, the question is: who was I dressed up?

A conference about eTwinning in Katowice

On the 19th of April 2012 me, Emil, Ms. Kate and Mrs. Beata were in Katowice. We took part in a conference about eTwinning projects. 15 schools from our province were invited to Katowice to prepare their stalls concerning their projects.

Most of the decorations on the stall concerned our current project “Japan”. I wore a geisha outfit and Emil was a samurai.

Ms. Kate had only one hour to comb my hair and did make - up but she managed to do it.

A lot of people admired Łukasz's origami.

They also viewed our photos and asked different questions. Several people took photos of us. We took nine pairs of Japanese sticks which were used as a prize in a mini contest. I asked easy questions about Japan and the participants answered them. If the answer was correct, the participant won a pair of sticks.

We had a great time and I think people who were there, liked our stand.

Japanese Photo Session in Zawiercie

27 March in our shool there was a photo session. The session was held in our school library and: Agnieszka (geisha's apprentice), Paulina (geisha), Klaudia (cherry-tree) and Emil (Shogun) took part in it.

Ms. Kate, our librarian, was both the hairdresser, make-up artist and a photographer. We presented a traditional Japanese costume - kimono.

In our session we used kimonos, sticks, Japanese umbrella and a lot of  cosmetics.

Ms. Kate did also haircut.

Agnieszka and Klaudia did make-up.

After the fight with hair and powder we could go for a session.

It was great fun! And what do you think about our photos?
