Step by step drawing..

Our student Reginaldo likes drawing manga characters, he made this "how-to-make-a-character" process for you, have fun and cretate some new ones!!

More mangakas...

Dear friends, here we show you a couple of Sofía & Carmen's  drawings (the girls from the "Japan weekend" news). This one is Carmen's:

And the next one is Sofia´s work (the character Usui Tamuki, from the "Kaichou wa maid-sama" series):

Wolf´s rain

Hello, we show you here the artwork from our student Alicia. She made the picture and wanted to add the following information: The comic-story is about a tribe of ancient magic wolves that now are living among people, but they have the "magic" power to disguise themselves as humans. The comic shows us the adventures of those wolves in a semi-magic world, while they are looking for a magic place for them, called "Rakuen" (the paradise of their ancient world). Hope you like it!!

Hello everyone from Ciudad Real!

We salute you in our first contribution to the blog and the "Japan" Project. Here we send you some photos taken by Carmen and Sofia -two of our etwinning students- a few weeks ago at the "Japan weeken", held in Madrid.

In the first picture, we can see our student Carmen with a cool friend. The next one displays another Cosplay group and our student Sofía (on the right, with some bags).

This cultural event is celebrated in many cities twice a year. As you can see, people are used to go there in disguise (Cosplay most of times) and there are many activities to do: manga, parties, music concerts, para-para, karaoke and so on...

Origami with Ukrainians in Zawiercie

On 27th of October in our school we had guests from Ukraine. They arrived within polish - ukrainian exchange of young people. It was a group of 29 students and 4 teachers. We and our teachers prepared a lot of activities and one of them was an origami lesson. This time it wasn’t a modular origami, but something easier.

Łukasz – our master of origami – taught our guests how to do a swan.

It wasn’t an easy task but most of Ukrainians did it! Łukasz worked very hard to explain them everything. He had some problems with language because he didn’t know Ukrainian or Russian and our guests didn’t know English very well. He was very creative to show them all the steps in this art.

Thanks to that Ukrainian students did a lot of beautiful and colorful swans. We’re very glad that we could show them our Japanese abilities.

Origami in Zawiercie

On 13th of October during the long break in our library, Łukasz – an origami master - presented how to make a simple star. It was a modular origami. We had a lot of fun getting to know some basic steps in this art.

Łukasz was very patient :)
There weren’t too many students in the library, so our “master” could check our work and correct possible mistakes.

Although we haven’t got much time our teacher was great! We’re looking forward to the next origami lessons at our school.

Maybe next time we’ll make some swans?

How to use Japanese sticks - group from Zawiercie

Emil, Klaudia, Agnieszka, Olga and Łukasz in our school library

On 5th of October we made a second performance of our project’s work. It was a lesson how to eat with Japanese sticks

We invited several students. They were very surprised and interested in it. It was the first time when somebody tried to teach them how to use something like Japanese sticks.

Agnieszka and Olga brought several pairs of sticks and some food: crunchy, popcorn and chocolate cornflakes. Agnieszka wore a kimono and chan-clas. She also brought a few bamboo pads.

Seventeen students sat on a floor in a school library and tried to catch something to eat from plates. They were laughing all the time. Everyone had a good time and all participants gained new experience.

Now they can eat with Japanese sticks!
